You don’t know who and where you are at the beginning of your journey. You don’t know your name, your thoughts, and your appearance. You may be who you think you are, but you may also be someone else. No one knows you in your entirety, and no one can describe you in your entirety. You move gently and sensitively, searching for the stream. You search for proof that your guess is correct. On shaky ground, repeating a single movement helps you hold on. Again. And again. And again. And again. It’s always the same. And it’s always different. You are careful. You try not to get stuck living in the past. You let the stream flow and the light shine. You repeat the same thing. Only in the moment of simple movement is your presence experienced in all its clarity. The moments are short initially, but they become longer as you continue. Space turns into spring, and light throws you into another reality. You forget yourself. There are only terra incognita and you — without name, thoughts, or appearance — in front of you. The new reality can only be held onto by a gesture of entire presence. You take the brush and perform the ritual act — I AM … and I AM HERE (rus. TUT). The whole world and you become visible when you take a name.
